Our Eat Savage Taco Salad is made with local Ontario Grass Fed Beef and is seasoned with traditional mexican spices and topped with green onions. This version is served on top of baked sweet potatoes. It is also served with all the taco toppings on the side: homemade pico de gallo, clean sour cream, clean shredded white cheddar and a lime wedge. Can be eaten hot or cold.
Don't eat dairy? Not to worry... for those of you who eat don't eat dairy, we portion the clean shredded white cheddar cheese and the clean sour cream that we serve with this meal in separate containers so you can choose to toss those and enjoy the taco salad with the salsa alone.
Side Note: We use dairy sparingly in some of our meals. That being said, Eat Savage is diligent about choosing only clean dairy because we fully understand that not all dairy is created equal.
For example in the Eat Savage - Hunt Gather Devour kitchen, our sour cream contains only: MILK INGREDIENTS, BACTERIAL CULTURE and MICROBIAL ENZYME. That's it!!
Versus most sour creams which contain: MODIFIED MILK INGREDIENTS, MODIFIED CORN STARCH, GUAR GUM, CARRAGEENAN, CAROB BEAN GUM, SODIUM CITRATE and SODIUM PHOSPHATE in addition to those items.
